Alain Prost #27 1991 – SOLD
A Rosso 1:8 large scale model (55 cms in length) of the Ferrari 643 F1 car as raced in the 1991 Grand Prix season by Alain Prost. Arguably the most beautiful F1 ferrari of the modern era and the number 27 , the number Giles Villeneuve raced for Ferrari when he was killed in qualifying at the 1982 Belgian Grand Prix, so loved by the Italian Tifosi for his driving flair and his devotion to Ferrari.
Rosso models started up in the early 1990's and quickly established a reputation for producing highly detailed and correct model cars. Unfortunatley there was a fire at the factory and the company never recovered. Hence these models are now very rare and sought after. The model is set off beautifully in a glass display case with metal edged base.
