Very rare handbuilt

Porsche 917K 1:8 scale by Karsten Schmidt, in Germany.

This is a superb large scale, hand built 'kerbside' model of the famous Le Mans winning Porsche 917. Available here in the Gulf livery of the #20 car as featured in the iconic film Le Mans starring Steve McQueen. The car was actually entered as a test car for the 1970 Le Mans 24 hour race to get footage for the film.

With fabulous detailing of the rear underside and the cockpit. The model comes with a black base, plaque detailing the car and the maker and a perspex cover.
