Scratch built by Karsten Schmidt – SOLD

This is a new, completely hand made from scratch, 1:8 scale 'kerbside' model of the Porsche 550 Spider.
It has a hand crafted interior, exceptional paint finish and fantastic attention to detail. The model sits on a black felt covered base, with a plaque detailing the car and maker. Covered in a perspex case and a certificate of authenticity from the maker.

The Porsche 550 Spyder was created for racing and was very successful at races such as Le Mans, targa Floria, Sebring and other Can Am race circuits.
Made famous by James Dean nicknamed it his 'little bastard' he was killed in this car.

This is a truly stunning model almost 2 foot in length including the case. A wonderful addition to any model collection or as a stand alone centre piece.
