The works number 18 was driven in 1953 by Tony Rolt and Duncan Hamilton winning ahead of another C Type driven by Stirling Moss and Peter Walker. C Types also finished 4th and 9th in 1953.

This model is a handbuilt 1:8 large scale replica of that winning car made by Javan Smith, completely hand made from scratch in the uk in 2002. It is a pre owned model which has been very well looked after and is in excellent condition.

The model sits and its original black base with plaque showing the makers name and build date, it has the original perspex cover.
This is a truly stunning model almost 2 foot in length including the case. A wonderful addition to any model collection or as a stand alone centre piece.
