This model is a handbuilt 1:8 large scale replica of the Aston Martin DBR1, driven by Stirling Moss and Jack Brabham in the 1958 Le Mans 24 Hour race. Aston Martin finished 2nd that year, going on to win outright in 1959. This model was made by the well known and respected maker - Javan Smith, completely hand made from scratch in the uk in 2002. It is a pre owned model which has been very well looked after and is in excellent condition.

The model sits and its original black base with plaque showing the makers name and build date, it has the original perspex cover.
This is a truly stunning model almost 2 foot in length including the case. A wonderful addition to any model collection or as a stand alone centre piece.
