This is a brand new release of the beautiful XK120. The model is by RAE Models, who make models of many things including cars. Having made an XK120 model some years ago they have recreated this beautiful car in a brand new limited edition.

The #16 XK120S was a private entrant in the 1950 Le Mans 24 Hour race. Driven by Peter Whitehead and John Marshall finishing in 15th place. This was the first appearance of the XK120 at Le Mans with it's 3.4 Litre engine. The success of the XK120S and this superb engine lead to the development of the Le Mans winning C and D Type Jaguars and an incredible decade of Endurance dominenace by Jaguar.

A superbly detailed model with resin cast body, lovely cockpit, fabulous paint finish due to being professionally sprayed and highly accurate fine detailing, with brightwork made from moulded pewter. The model sits on a wooden base, with a perspex case and a limited edition certificate of authenticity from the maker. This is #001/100, The very first made.

This is a brand new model, it is a truly stunning model around 60cm in length including the case. A wonderful addition to any model collection or as a stand alone centre piece. Currently the only one available.
