This is a CMC 1:18 scale model of the Mercedes W196 'Type Monza' Streamliner as raced in the 1955 Grand Prix season. It was designed with its closed wheels to win on the faster circuits. This is the N0. 18 car which was raced by Juan Fango at Reims, Silverstone and Monza in the 1954 and 1955 seasons.
Made to the usual high standards of CMC with stunning cockpit detail and check drivers seat, opening bonnet to reveal the mercedes 8 cylinder engine.
This is a limited edition pre owned model, no longer available new. It is in excellent condition, and comes with the original packaging, leaflet, tool, cloth and box.
