#12 stirling Moss – SOLD

This is a fabulous 1:8 large scale model by the high end model makers Amalgam of the Mercedes W196 Monoposto as raced by Stirling Moss to victory in the British Grand Prix in 1955, run for the first time at Aintree. The engine cover lifts off to reveal in stunning detail the 8 cylinder engine. The cockpit is beautifully crafted and correct in every detail.

The model sits on a black base with plaques detailing the model, a plaque hand signed by Stirling Moss and the limited edition number and is covered by a perspex case. Number 47 of a limited edition of 196. The model is pre-owned (3 years old) and is in excellent condition.

A stunning addition to any model collection and a fabulous piece for any F1, British Grand Prix and Stirling Moss fan.
