Amalgam 1:8 scale Jaguar E Type Lightweight #23 Sebring 12 Hour race 1963 in 1:8 scale.

Only three models were ever made specially for Jaguar Cars and not originally for public sale.

With fully opening bonnet, door, boot, fuel filler cover. Fully detailed engine, boot and interior, with seatbelt harnesses. The attention to detail is incredible and is an exact scale copy of the original. With festidious research and scanning of the original car done by Amalgam in full co-operation and scrutiny from Jaguar cars. The model sits on the Amalgam, leather covered display plinth with plaques detailing the car and comes with the original perspex cover. Only 3 of this model were ever made, all for Jaguar Cars and not available for the public to buy. This particular model has a lightly weathered finish to look as it would have after the race.
This is a truly stunning model, measuring approx. 54cms in length and 70cms including the case. A wonderful addition to any model collection or as a stand alone centre piece. The finest model of this car available anywhere in the world.
