1959 Commer TS3, Ecurie Ecosse 1:18 scale Race Transporter by CMR models.

This is a beautiful recreation of probably the most famous race transporter of them all. The transporter of the Scottish race team Ecurie Ecosse, as used to transport the Jaguar D Type's to and from races in the 1950's, including the Le Mans 24 hour race which the team won in 1956 and 1957.

The real transporter sold for £1.8M in December 2013 at the Bonhams auction and was seen at last year's Goodwood Revival. Essentially a 'kerbside' model (no opening doors etc.) but it is a delightful and highly accurate recretion of an iconic of motor racing and Le Mans history.

The 1956 Le Mans winning D Type model is not included in this price but is available. A fabulously detailed model for the price and it makes a fantastic display sitting on top of the transporter

The models are new, the transporter measures over 50 cms in length and will make a hugely impressive display piece.
